You may have noticed that I am taking it slowly on the website. I started a page yesterday that I finished this morning simply called, “For.” I want this page to set the tone for what comes, as I figure out all the angles and vorticitie’s it takes to bring you faith but in a non-threatening manner. That brings up whether I am the one to bring you faith. The obvious answer is “no,” I am probably not the one to do so.
It is for that reason that I bring in the bible and the book of Luke; a gospel in the New Testament. And, that brings up, for some, a distrust in the bible facilitated by both the press, the media, and the anti-God pundits we find everywhere, not to mention science and their godless ideology of Formulae. Their religion of self.
Instead, I will use quotes, but sparingly, as it is the human mind that must accept God but in this atmosphere today God is questioned if not outright denied and called preposterous. That has been a sad story of human kind since day one. Which is why Jesus came, in part, to reclaim the souls that did believe and show them, through Himself, a path to God. It is time for acceptance isn’t it, because it is that lack of acceptance that created the horror we are beginning to see all around us. What you see now did not exist fifty years ago. I was there, I know. What did exist fifty years ago was a deep faith in God and Christ. For the most part, this is gone now and seems absent in politics. And politics show this demonstrably.
Perhaps you haven’t looked at this world or its politics in the scriptural context? Or, put another way, through God’s eyes. Not that we can see in that manner, but it is the attempt to do so that is opened by the Christ. Follow Him, follow God. That is now the way of it. Take it or leave it, to your own peril.
