A favor is something you do for others in order to help out in some way. Favors can be as small as taking out the garbage or as large as a doctor coming from far away in order to save a life. The favor I ask of you is simple yet difficult for some. I ask that you begin a campaign as thinking of others as people without labels such as this nationality or that, this race or that, this culture or that.
You see, labeling a person or large group of people is taking away from what God sees and proving our own imperfection as only a selfish person can. God sees us, as He has told us, all as human beings given the same abilities to either get along or choose not to get along. When we look at a person we are actually seeing a reflection of ourselves as we would be, given a different situation. Of course, a human being is what he or she is due to the choices they have made. Bad choices equal bad outcomes. Breaking the law or hurting others is a type of bad outcome, a bad choice. Free will is what God gave each of us but with an admonition to treat one another with love. “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” The fact that we see the opposite is what disobeying God’s commandments lead to.
In this world few believe in God and it shows, doesn’t it? For those that do believe you will not hear it shouted from the hilltops. It is a quiet belief best defined by a person’s actions or lack there of. A quiet type of living that exudes love of one another if allowed to be shown. Unfortunately, that quiet is purposeful now as so many would harangue a person for believing. Still, they put Christ to death for His message of salvation didn’t they?
It is time on Earth for quiet faith as the world is turning against Christianity. Islam is on the march it would seem and this is what has been foretold in prophecy. I write this as a thought for my day of introspection and if it makes sense to you then I have done what I intended with beginning this website.
